The Polycaster Electric Guitar

In the early 1950s, rock 'n' roll came of age alongside the automobile and the interstate highway system, inspiring memorable songs, music videos, and entertainment.

Syracuse Nationals, the largest car show in the Northeast, is taking place from July 15-17, 2022 at the New York State Fairgrounds. The event is expected to attract more than 86,000 participants, 8,000 hot rods, and 400 vendors enthusiastic about classic cars, hot rods, live music, and entertainment.

Syracuse Nationals not only attracts crowds interested in classic cars and hot rods, but those interested in country music, rock nā€™ roll, classic rock, and many other genres of music. There will be more than 15 live bands performing during the span of the event.

At the Syracuse Nationals, we are hosting a sweepstakes, a prize worth approximately $1,500: a custom, one-of-a-kind electric 3D printed guitar, made and designed by a team of engineers, car enthusiasts, and musicians.

The guitar body is 3D printed on our Vault 3D Printer. With a build envelope of 7ft x 5ft x 5ft, The Vault is one of the largest 3D printers in the Americas. Within this giant chamber, The Vault prints full size and custom parts, standing in an additive manufacturing league of its own.

The ergonomic 3D printed body was optimized during the 3D printing process to perfectly balance the instrument.

This semi-hollow electric guitar was part of our sweepstakes at Syracuse Nationals, the largest car show in the Northeast.

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who participated in this sweepstakes, it was a huge success!
